We’ll give it a try
Arrived in Wellington at 10 in the morning – but not without risks! Whilst waiting for the plane in sunny Auckland, we were told that it was very windy in Wellington and may not be able to land. The pilot would take us down there and give it a try but might have to come back.
Great, just what was needed after so much travelling. However, when we got there it was a bit windy but we landed no problem and at last I’d arrived. My bags were first off too!
Vic was there to meet me, a short taxi ride into town and I was sipping a cup of coffee overlooking Oriental Bay and Wellington downtown.
