365: The new enemy
One of the neighbour’s two squirrels who can now be hurd scurrying around my loft too. It’s time to call out the vermin man.
365: Harpist, busking
At Green Park station. That’s a heck of a thing to carry down an escalator.
365: Handwash usability
A current frustration unique to the Intercontinental chain of hotels: the handwash and the handlotion are in identical bottles. After drinking on top of jetlag this is very, very confusing. And annoying!
365: Arab iconography
No short skirts for these gender icons…
365: What’s that coming over the hill?
Cliff-topping near Lulworth Cove.
365: Musical chairs
A peculiar day, from the emotions of a memorial ceremony to 30th birthday celebrations in Dorset. I’d forgotten how much fun musical chairs could be!
365: Life at 36,000′
I will probably spend a full week of my life this year at 36,000′ or above. We’ll return to the carbon emmissions implications of that later, once I’ve done the mathematics.
365: 5th Circle
Of Amman, rather than of hell. In fact I rather like Amman. This is one of the regular stops during my stays at the Four Seasons, just outside the hotel entrance and significantly cheaper to buy anything sweet or delightful.
365: My gut
Has become surprisingly used to the miscellaneous meats of the Middle East.
365: My life
In a typical travelling week involves a lot, a lot, of bashing out notes on a laptop.
